Dr. Baron is a licensed clinical psychologist with over 15 years of practice in outpatient psychotherapy in the Philadelphia area.
Dr. Baron received her Ph.D. in Clinical and Health Psychology from Drexel University in 2003. During her training, she worked under Dr. Christine Maguth Nezu and Dr. Art Nezu, providing manualized problem-solving therapy to individuals diagnosed with cancer. In addition, she provided outpatient therapy at the Drexel University College Counseling Center under Dr. Pamela Geller.
Dr. Baron completed her pre-doctoral internship at Temple University Hospital, where she was awarded Intern of the Year. At TUH, Dr. Baron worked in both the Outpatient Clinic, frequently collaborating with a team of psychiatrists, as well as in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit, where she offered support to individuals coping with physical limitations due to disease or injury such as stroke, degenerative neurological disorders, and orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Baron completed her post-doctoral internship working with Dr. Linda Shrier, in Center City, Philadelphia. Here, she provided outpatient psychotherapy, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Problem-Solving Therapy, Stress Management, and Biofeedback.
In 2010, Dr. Baron joined Delaware County Professional Services (now LifeStance Health), where she served as a lead clinician for over 10 years. At DCPS, Dr. Baron worked with individuals with a myriad of mental health concerns. She often collaborated with local Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians regarding patients who had mental health concerns alongside chronic medical conditions.
More recently, Dr. Baron entered into private practice. She currently offers in-session psychotherapy in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, located on the Main Line, and she continues to offer telehealth.
Dr. Baron is a member of PSYPACT, which allows her to offer telehealth to individuals in many states, including, but not limited to, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland and New Jersey.
