Dr. Baron is a clinical psychologist who has been providing outpatient psychotherapy for over 15 years. She draws from a cognitive-behavioral approach (CBT) to therapy, and along with traditional psychotherapy, incorporates stress management, mindfulness techniques, and coping skills training to address a myriad of issues. Dr. Baron works with adults coping with a variety of mental health concerns, including depression and anxiety, and frequently works with individuals diagnosed with chronic medical conditions. She views therapy as a cooperative, working relationship - working together to develop goals and working to reach those goals.
Dr. Baron has been working with clients for the past ten years at LifeStance Health (formerly Delaware County Professional Services). She graduated with honors from Lehigh University. After college, she ran an NIH funded research study at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, studying the efficacy of Guided Visualization in the treatment of individuals diagnosed with asthma. Dr. Baron received her doctorate in Clinical and Health Psychology in 2003 from Drexel University. While studying at Drexel, she offered Problem-Solving Therapy for individuals coping with a diagnosis of cancer, co-wrote the chapter Alternative Therapies for the book Encyclopedia of Stress, and worked in the Drexel University Counseling Center. Dr. Baron completed her pre-doctoral internship at Temple University Hospital and was awarded Intern of the Year. At TUH, she worked in the Outpatient Clinic and the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit.
